Our "Toque" Cuisine
The Jägerhof was the only establishment in the province of South Tyrol and one of the few in the entire country of Italy to be designated an EXEMPLARY ESTABLISHMENT and honored with the "South Tyrol: Enjoy Local" award.

"Up here in the municipal district of Walten/Valtina, the world is still balance. That's reflected by the cuisine, which honors rustic cooking and makes a special effort when it comes to game meats. But you'll also find extravagant dishes like the Brook Trout in Mountain Hay. We were particularly pleased by the Alpine Bighorn roast with hazelnut noodles and blue cabbage. The menu was equally impressive: Venison cutlets with Boletus Mushrooms. The half-frozen dandelion honey, but also the Alpine cheese, were likewise of remarkable quality!“
